How We Got Here
Derived Data began when our founders identified a persistent gap in the New Zealand market: businesses were sitting on mountains of untapped data, lacking the tools and strategy to make use of it.
Starting with data consultancy, we helped organisations in Taranaki and beyond to architect data strategies, integrate systems, and build analytics capability from the ground up.
Recognising that data starts at the physical world, we expanded into designing and manufacturing smart IoT products — launching TagAlong®, Wwifi, TankTalk® and Test-n-Tag to bring connected intelligence to everyday objects.
